Digilogistics Center of Excellence was established in 2020 as a result of exit from the first Estonian state owned business acceleration program "Accelerate Estonia"
Our company's official name is Digilogistika Keskus OĆ (shortly DLK). We see as a a competence center for digital supply chain and we apply our experiences for developing paperless transport solutions and data exchange platform as open digital infrastructure for logistics (LogiXdigi.eu). It is based on international standards and made for cargo senders/purchasers, intermodal carriers and public authorities. The purpose of this digital infrastructure is to exchange all relevant information related to the transport of goods electronically and in real time.
In order to achieve its goals, DLK involves and participates in international expert groups in the fields of transport and logistics, conducting market analyzes, describing best practices and sharing experience between businesses and public authorities. In close cooperation with various companies, public authorities, universities, standardization organizations and European Commission working groups (e.g DTLF), we will create a faster, more efficient and more transparent processes for digital future. That's how DLK helps ensure equal competition in the market and a cleaner environment through lower CO2 pollution.
DLK does not limit itself to analyzing the situation and developing a concept, but creates value for companies in daily activities. The concept of the Digital Logistics Center has been developed from the beginning in PPP cooperation, where the private and public sector has cooperated with research institutions both in Estonia and in neighboring
countries, looking for opportunities to cross-border data exchanges throughout Europe and beyond.
We have formed a joint working group consisting of several government agencies, transport companies, e-waybill service providers and the data platform DBE Core developed on PEPPOL standards, which provides digital tools for goods orders and their confirmations and e-invoicing. The aim of this working group is to develop a digital trade route from Scandinavia to Central Europe, and we are open to working with Italy and other European countries to accelerate paperless transport across Europe.
Today we are a small company and the entire development of the platform is divided into groups from our partner companies of up to 3-5 persons.
We are looking for ways to accelerate developments and we need additional resources to do so. We have experience in EU-funded projects where we have participated as a
lead partner for the last 3 years. These include the Diginno BSR (e-CMR project), its follow-up projects Diginno Proto ( https://www.diginnobsr.eu/diginno-proto) and Dinnocap (https://www.diginnobsr.eu/dinnocap).
Our activities have been recognized by the Esonian Ministry of Economic Affairs and
Communications and the e-CMR project has been declared a Real-Time
Economy Flagship project
